Why so formal? The question-oriented tagline intrigued me and inspired me to take on this exciting project. Instead of dressing actual human beings, the mannequins will be showcased in the background, highlighting a lifeless and monotonous tone of formal wear. The setups shared a monotonous and conventional quality. The design included several key spaces: an interview room decorated with black-and-white landscapes, a conference room featuring a long symmetrical table, and a modern fine dining area accented by touches of green for a hint of life. There was also a typical grey-toned office cubicle and subtle wedding decor that incorporated traditional elements such as chairs, carpeting, and chandeliers. The overall aim was to sustain a simple aesthetic that would allow the solitary figure in the frame, dressed in dollar athleisure, to stand out prominently.
