SG Bats x Hardik Pandya

DESIGNATION: PRODUCTION DESIGNER

The statement from the SG Owner, 'This pile looks exactly like our manufacturing unit in Meerut,' truly made our day. Dheer and Dar's creativity always brings me exciting and challenging projects. The Hardik Pandya commercial was one of a kind. The brief was to create a massive pyramid of cricket bats stacked to a great height, from which Hardik would take out a bat while blindfolded. Of course, there was a twist in the script: no other bat should fall or come out during the process. I thought, 'Hmm, interesting but achievable.' My small team, consisting of a set decorator and a 3D designer, brainstormed ideas for building this larger-than-life cricket bat installation using actual bat stacking racks and boxes. The fun part was that we had to create this within a tight timeline of just 5 hours, using 350 bats.
